After several hours of being a tourist, it was time for a late lunch. There were many restaurant choices around the monuments, at very inflated prices. We began wandering around some of the adjacent streets and wondered into a charming area full of boutique hotels, bed and breakfast, and smaller restaurants.

We settled on this restaurant/hotel after reading the menu, written in both Turkish and English. An excellent choice.

Finally, lunch is served. Sherry ordered a chicken schnitzel with sauteed muchrooms and Geoff ordered Turkish meatballs (kofte) and both came with small servings of rice with garbanzo beans, french fries, shredded cabbage, lettuce, carrot and sliced tomato, with a drink, diet coke, of course! All of this for $8 US or 12 Turkish Lira. A bargain. And yes, it was very good.
