Each letter is pronounced, and Eczane is "Pharmacy"
This famous Turkish sign just might be familiar!
"Kewkewrtlew" (the u with 2 dots is a ew sound) is the area where the hotel was. Firini is a baker or bakery. Turks buy their bread fresh daily, as it does not have preservatives. They usually sell some pastries/cookies, some items made with a puff pastry, as well as various types of bread. We have not found a bad one yet. Sliced bread as we know it is available, in small quantities, but is not very good. The white version is used for "tost" which is basically a grilled cheese sandwich.
And you can't escape beauty treatments, even here!
