This was our first time to venture over to Istanbul on our own. Geoff usually has a driver take him on the occasions he has had to be in Istanbul, which was usually to catch a plane. He had a meeting there near the airport on Friday, so we decided to spend the night and be a tourist for a day. We caught the car ferry from Mudanya. Hizli Feribot is the high speed ferry, although it takes about 2 hours. We had rainy weather and some rough water on the way over.
