WELCOME TO SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA

Finally, after 8 months of crossing hurdles, jumping through hoops, and sorting things out, I was able to travel to South Korea to visit Megan, Rick, Natty and finally meet Gabby.  They are stationed at Camp Humphrey Army Base at a small village called Anjungri, near the larger town of Pyeontaek, about a 2 hour bus ride southwest of Seoul.  I was met at the airport by the whole family and a barely contained Natty.  We took a bus ride back to Yongson Army Base in Seoul where we stayed the night at Dragon Hill Lodge and I was treated to a Mexican Dinner.   The next day we did a quick look at Seoul in the area just outside the base and took the bus to their base and home.

 The sign says it all.

And if you can read this...

Gabby had just begun to crawl and while investigating the hotel room, discovered the baby in the mirror, which she patted and kissed.

Natty, on multiple occasions, instructed me to 'take my picture for Dad Dad' and this was the first one.  The harvest decorations at the hotel.

They call this area the 'melting pot district' because there is a multi-national  population, loads of restaurants, and shops that have clothes that will fit the western figures!

And the ever present signs of something that spells 'home'.

Natty & Mom Mom in front of a wall waterfall.  Have to prove I was there!!
