TAEKWONDO & COOKIES

I went to watch Natty practice Taekwondo once and then on the day of her test from Senior Green Belt to Jr. Blue Belt.  She worked so hard and was really focused.  When they were told to stand up and take off their green belts she was jumping all around saying "this is the best day of my life"...until the next one!!!  Master Kim has incredible patience with them.

 Natty enjoys helping in the kitchen and while I was there we baked muffins and cookies, but the best time was making Halloween Cookies and decorating them with her friend Daisy.  We have made decorated cookies together, in her words, "since I was a little baby".

 And the lips tell the story.  There were some very imaginative creations among the pumpkin, ghost, witch and turkey cookies, and sometimes the icing and sprinkles outdid the cookie itself.
