Mountain Top/Village

It was interesting driving to the top, as you saw the vegetation change to scrubby, rough plants, then to not much of anything.  As you can see, there is still some snow in pockets.  The village was pretty well deserted.  There were a couple of the newer, more upscale hotels open, and a couple small markets, but everything else was closed tight.  One chair lift was working and for a large sum of money, one could ride up and down.  Another day, another time, when there is snow on the mountain and skis on the feet.  We also saw some rather poor looking horses, which I assume are for horseback riding????, but they didn't look all that capable.  And of course, a donkey.

The newer part of the village in the distance.
The older part of the village.
The newest ski lodge, and more being built.
This one looked really good, but she was pregnant.
I'm shy, don't take my photo, please!
