On Sunday we took a picnic lunch and drove the 15 miles up to Uludag National Park. Uludag means "Great Mountain" and is the ancient Mt. Olympus. It is 8,343 ft at it's highest peak and is a popular ski and winter sport area and in summers, picnicking, hiking and camping is popular as the temperatures up in the mountains are fully 15 or more degrees cooler than down in Bursa. It was a really beautiful day.

| You can picnic, cook on a fire, but clean up after yourself. Unfortunately, some of the visitors forgot about the clean up after yourself bit, which was aggravating. |
