Views of Perge

The water channels. The water source began at a fountain on the acropolis, the fortified, highest plateau of the city, which you can see in the background, and ran down the channels which was in the main streets. This water source helped cool the air in the hot months. You can just see what is left of the ruins up the hill.

Some remains of the city walls.

Pieces of columns that are being restored in the housing areas with views up to the acropolis.

Remaining walls.

Aqueducts in the stadium and theater areas.
